Let’s talk about one of the biggest concerns when it comes to a shaper dress: the bust. Either the dress fits or the bust does, but rarely both.

So imagine my surprise when I tried a flattering stunner from Ruby Ribbon called the Convertible Slip. It’s rightfully named as you can remove or adjust straps to crisscross. The slip size goes off of your band (available from sizes 34-40) and the lifting cups adjust to your breast size.

It’s hard to explain, but the cups stretch for larger busts and contract for smaller busts. As a DDD, I was a little reserved about this notion, as wireless options haven’t had the best track record for fuller figures. But the weirdest thing happens; the cups form a flattering lift-and-separate.

The separation may be the most important, as no one wants to have a uniboob on your wedding day. Not flattering at all! The double layered lightweight fabric adds additional support and makes for a comfortable fit. Along the front, the tummy-flattening panel compresses the belly for a tighter look. The best part is, the panel is seamless and doesn’t peek through any garments.

The length hits at a comfortable mid-thigh length and smooths at the edges, as to not create and awkward line. The silicone at the hem is so fine that it doesn’t cause any discomfort. It’s almost like a massaging gel that’s flexible and moves with you as you walk. You'll almost be tempted to put on some shoes and call it a day.
