Ayesha Curry's Court-Side Snack Will Blow Your Nachos Away
We’re pretty sure Ayesha Curry can do it all. The 28-year-old is a busy mom of two, a supportive wife to NBA MVP Stephen Curry, and a successful chef and lifestyle guru, all while looking beyond chic at practically every turn. So when Curry stopped by the InStyle offices in New York City, we had to quiz her on a few of the things that make her tick.
First up? Her game day rituals. Since Curry has been cheering on Stephen and the Golden State Warriors for years, you better believe she has tracked down the tastiest snack in the Oracle Arena. And no, it's not the nachos. “I actually love the pork lo mein,” she told us. “It’s the best thing in the arena—hands down.”
When it comes to courtside style, she has also found her formula over time. "I get pretty into the games and I need to be able to move my arms and legs around, so I usually go with jeans and a t-shirt,” she says, hinting that skinny jeans from Zara ($50; zara.com) are her fave. "Sometimes I’ll dress them them up with heels.”
With pretty much every look she wears, Curry puts an emphasis on accessorizing. In fact, she arrived at InStyle wearing two of her favorite outfit makers: black Balenciaga booties ($1,275; net-a-porter.com) and a delicate “Mommy” necklace from Stilnest ($99; stilnest.com). “When I’m not with my kids, it makes me think of them,” she says. "I wear it proud that I’m a mom.”
It seems that Curry’s daughters Riley, 4, and Ryan, 1, have a lot to look forward to in the hand-me-down department. “The one thing that I will give to them is my Saint Laurent black leather jacket ($4,990; barneys.com),” she says. “The price tag was a little steep, but I felt like it was ok because it’s something I can pass down.”
