Miley Cyrus's Mom Traded a Jumpsuit for Jeans at Her Daughter's Wedding to Liam Hemsworth
At a wedding, especially a celebrity one, it's customary for the bride to wear a second gown at the reception. But at Miley Cyrus's intimate celebration with husband Liam Hemsworth, the "Malibu" singer's mother flipped the script on tradition with an outfit change of her own.
On Thursday, Tish Cyrus, shared several family portraits from the weekend wedding, and, in one snap, she poses next to her daughter in front of an altar decorated with roses and baby's breath, wearing what appears to be a sleek black jumpsuit. Miley stands in between her parents (her dad, Billy Ray, also opted for all-black) in her off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown.
“This makes my heart so happy,” Tish captioned the sweet family photo.
In another picture posted by Miley's dad on Instagram, Tish appears in the background in a casual black sweater and light-wash jeans. The photo seems to have been taken at the reception post-ceremony, as Miley and Liam join hands to cut the cake.
Tish's quick wardrobe swap is totally understandable — who wants to dance in uncomfortable fancy clothes and high heels? Even the bride kicked off her shoes, going barefoot to have a jam session to the hit song "Uptown Funk" with her new hubby, Liam.
Note to self: Pack an extra outfit to change into at every future wedding on the calendar.
