After her sister Kim and brother-in-law Kanye West faced backlash by fans for "pretending to be poor" for social media's sake, Khloé Kardashian is now also being accused of not having a grasp on reality given her insane amount of riches.

On Monday, a fan tweeted about her dedication to Kardashian's Good American denim, saying that she had to "work 20 hours in order to afford" a pair of the brand's jeans, which retail anywhere between $159 and $189. "I'm in love with them...catch me picking up extra shifts," the user added.

Kardashian replied: "Awwwwww this is so cute!!!! I’m so happy you enjoy them.” Labeling her hard work for a single pair of jeans "cute" didn't sit well with many critics who dragged the reality star on Twitter for her comment.

"A millionaire thinks it’s 'cute' that ppl have to calculate & think how many hours they have to work to afford little things," wrote one commenter, while another mocked the mom of one. "Being poor is so cute!" the critic sarcastically tweeted.

Some people thought Kardashian should give the fan a free pair of jeans, or at least "a coupon code or discount." But others pointed out that Khloé is not responsible for anyone's finances, which is a fair point.

Good American prides itself on being a body-positive denim label, with jeans ranging from a size 0 to 24. However, its designer pricing is not attainable for everyone. Maybe one day Khloé will consider creating a denim line that's more affordable in the future, but until then, it's back to work for us.
