Up until last week, my fix for creased concealer was simply to wipe it all off and start over. Celebrity makeup artist and Honest Beauty Creative Color Consultant Daniel Martin has a better solution, and it doesn't require starting from scratch.
When your concealer creases due to over-application or an ineffective, cheap formula, all you have to do is take the Honest Beauty Magic Balm ($18; target.com) and tap it directly on the creased and crepey spots. He says this breaks up the pigment, while the emollient found in the balm helps to make the concealer look like your skin. A few taps with your finger is all you need.
Daniel Martin has a hack for another common makeup mistake, too. If you've applied way too much bronzer, the best way to salvage the situation is by keeping your foundation brush handy and toning down the pigment with the leftover product found on the bristles of the brush.
Keep watching above to get the full breakdown on how to master both of these tricks.
