You've probably been told how important the shape of your brows is when it comes to framing your face. If maintaining the ideal shape has you running to your nearest brow specialist once a month, you can cancel your reoccurring appointment for this simple grooming alternative: the feathered brow.
Instead of focusing on the perfect arch, the feathered brow works with your current shape and fullness so that your brows look like your own—just better. This method doesn’t involve tweezers, so if you're afraid of over-plucking, this is the style for you.
To find out exactly how to achieve the look, we turned to celebrity makeup artist Ana Marie Rizzieri. While you can put down the tweezers, you will need a creamy eyebrow pencil like Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz ($21; sephora.com), a clear brow gel such as Sephora Collection’s Brow Gel ($12; sephora.com), and a brow spoolie like Sigma Beauty’s E80 Brow & Lash Brush ($15; bloomingdales.com).
Use the pencil in a back-and-forth motion to fill in any sparse spots, then brush brows up using its other end. Finish by setting the shape with clear brow gel. It doesn't get much easier, right?
