UPDATE: It’s official: we will finally see Olivia Pope and Annalise Keating in the same room.

Shonda Rhimes confirmed via social media Wednesday that she is planning a crossover of her shows How to Get Away with Murder and Scandal, which is in its last season.

“People, it’s happening,” she wrote. She also tweeted a photo of the script page showing Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) meeting for the first time.

HTGAWM Executive Producer Pete Nowalk tweeted the same script page.

Earlier today, Washington and Davis fanned the flames by posting tantalizing photos of themselves in a courthouse and the fictitious White House.

The crossover, which is expected to air around March, will give Washington and Co. the perfect sendoff in April. It was written by Raamla Mohamed and directed by Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Fitzgerald Grant on Scandal.
