Kesha is starting out the year with the intention of showing herself more love. The singer posted a selfie to Instagram declaring her two New Year's resolutions for 2019.

"This year my resolution is to love myself... just as I am, all fucked up and imperfect and whatever else," she captioned the photo "And to let my freckles liiiiiiiive." She's definitely made progress on the latter already. In the close-up photo, she's makeup-free or close to it, with her freckles on full display.

The "Praying" singer has received plenty of praise for the post, including from fellow celebs. Amy Schumer commented "You are so gorgeous!" Rose McGowan reposted the photo to her own Instagram with the caption "This is honesty. This is truth. This is Kesha. A beautiful being in all ways."

Kesha previously opened up about her journey to body acceptance after seeking treatment for an eating disorder. (She also encouraged others to seek help in a powerful PSA.) "The music industry has set unrealistic expectations for what a body is supposed to look like, and I started becoming overly critical of my own body because of that," she wrote in a personal essay for Elle UK.

Eventually, she was able to shift her outlook. "I'm not a size. I'm not a number. I am a strong, badass, motherfucking woman, and quite frankly, I like my junk," she said in an interview with Cosmopolitan last year. "Ten years ago, I never thought I'd be able to say that.”

Judging by her latest post, Kesha is aiming to go even deeper with the self-love this year. That's one goal we'll always get behind.
