Anyone who's a fan of Reese Witherspoon knows we mere mortals can learn a thing or two from the powerhouse actress, producer, Academy Award-winner, entrepreneur, and newly-dubbed author. In a recent Instagram post, Jennifer Garner showed her support for Witherspoon's new book by testing out Reese's tried-and-true tips for curling your hair with hot rollers. "My friend Reese Witherspoon has written a book full of so much—great food and recipes, insights, family, life lessons," Garner writes. "It's so so fun, check it out!"
In the video, Garner can be seen paging through Whiskey in a Teacup in an attempt to replicate Witherspoon's tips for perfectly tousled curls. After diligently applying mousse and adding hot rollers to her hair, Garner hops in her car for school pickup, under the instruction of her friend to "get in your car and go where you're going with hot rollers in your hair."
Garner even complies with Witherspoon's rule of rolling the window down and applying red lipstick before finishing her final look with a spritz of hairspray. "Boy are my kids going to be surprised," Garner says of the resulting style.
The results are impressive, and we can't help but applaud Garner for adhering to all of Witherspoon's fail-proof instructions, red lipstick application included. Garner closed out her Instagram with a single hashtag, #BeLikeReese, which is a mantra we can definitely get behind.
