We recently met up with actress and host of NBC's World of Dance, Jenna Dewan Tatum, at an event hosted by Young Living essential oils (a brand Dewan Tatum is very passionate about) to learn more about her beauty routine, how she uses essential oils, and the beauty product Channing (or "Chan" as she likes to refer to him) keeps stealing from her.

When asked about her beauty routine she said, when not working, she’s “really a sunscreen and argan oil kind of girl.” Dewan Tatum did admit that she always uses concealer, an eyelash curler, and lip balm. Her go-to concealer? Clé de Peau ($70; nordstrom.com). While we weren’t too surprised by her answer—it’s a favorite among celebrities and makeup artists—it is a little pricey. For a similar look at a fraction of the cost we like e.l.f. lightweight concealer stick ($4; target.com).

And as for essential oils, the star was introduced to them sixteen years ago when she got a raindrop massage, a process in which “they drop essential oils onto your back and then massage it in, and you feel like you could fly out of the room afterwards,” explains Dewan Tatum. “I was hooked—I use them on my body, I put them in my baths, I use them on my daughter, I use them all the time.” One of her favorite ways to use essential oils is to put lavender oil on the soles of her feet—she says it has a calming effect.

As for the product "Chan" can’t keep his hands off of? “He’s been stealing my argan oil a lot lately,” says Dewan Tatum.
