After graduating magna cum laude with a dual degree in Political Science and Rhetoric in 2016, she spent a year as a content marketer at JetPens.com, a stationery e-commerce.

After freelancing for a year, Stacey became a full-time writer in 2018, contributing to publishers such as POPSUGAR, BuzzFeed, HelloGiggles, Digital Trends, and more. Within these editorial brands, she has mostly written about entertainment, shopping, and gardening.

Education

Stacey graduated magna cum laude from UC Berkeley in 2016, double majoring in Rhetoric and Political Science. She wrote her honors senior thesis on the roles of ambiguity and familial obligation in Vietnamese diaspora literature. As a student, she worked for the arts department of The Daily Californian, where she wrote about films and visual art exhibitions in the Bay Area. She was also a recipient of the Incentive Awards Program and Rhetoric in Action award.
