As a fashion editor, I've written countless articles about Amazon Prime Day — but believe it or not, I often don't shop during the actual event. That's definitely not by choice; it's because I'm so distracted shifting through the thousands of deals and highlighting the very best ones that I never really get enough time to look for myself. Thankfully, Amazon just released thousands of fashion deals early, which means I now have time to write them up and shop at the same time — in the name of journalism, of course.

If you're like me, you're in need of a serious wardrobe refresh. After months of zero plans, parties, vacations, and very minimal social interaction, I'm looking forward to doing a little bit more in the coming months now that I'm vaccinated. I did put my typical spending on hold for a while, though, and now I'm in the market for a new summer bag, shorts, bikinis — the list goes on and on.

Naturally, the list of fashion deals on Amazon goes on and on, too, and I'm seriously astounded they're available a whole week early. Not only does that mean you can space out your Prime Day spending this year, but you can also get some items before the madness begins (and thousands of other shoppers are eyeing the deals you're considering). These early fashion deals aren't secret, but they're definitely under-the-radar.

Some of the very best items, in my opinion, are from brands you may not even realize are on Amazon. There's an about-to-be-everywhere Staud bag for under $300, the dreamiest Simon Miller kitten heel sandals for $195, and the perfect Sandy Liang summer dress for $200 off its retail price. There are also some classics from Tory Burch available for a fraction of the price. Everything from a Tory Burch crossbody bag to a pair of sunglasses are up for grabs at major discounts.

The shoes might really be the highlight of the sale, though. The ever-controversial Birkenstocks are under $100 (!!!), which is basically unheard of in prime Birkenstocks season. The same can be said about those Reebok sneakers every supermodel is currently wearing off-duty. If you want to hop on the platform clog trend, you'll likely be pressed to find a more perfect pair than these by Loeffler Randall, which are now $237.
