We sadly have to wait until 2017 for our favorite time-traveling series, Outlander, to return to the small screen, but lucky for us, the Season 2 Blu-Ray just released and that means we have plenty of hours to re-binge last season’s dramatic plot line. Remember the Battle of Culloden? The drama at Versailles? Or what about when Claire Fraser goes back through the stones in the finale?

We caught up with the show's star Caitriona Balfe, who told us that final scene was one of her favorites from the entire series. "I think the last episode, even though it's heartbreaking to watch, the goodbye at the stones was very moving," Balfe told InStyle. "That's one of my favorites. Even for us filming it, it was really special. That morning, there was the finest dust of snow everywhere and it looked like a Disney set. It was just really beautiful and really moving."

The Plaid-Wrapped War Look

By Episode 12, the clansmen are deep into the war with England and Claire is in the thick of it. Even so, she still keeps her look an understated chic, with a wrapped plaid blanket that doubles as a scarf, sweater, and skirt all in one!

We can't wait to rewatch. You know what else Balfe loved about Season 2? The epic costumes. But while we favored the French Court looks at Versailles (hello, that red dress!), she preferred her character's beloved Scottish garb. "I think one of my favorites is when Claire goes back to Scotland and wears an arisaid belted around her," she says of the wrap-around kilt she wears for warmth. "When she's right next to Jamie as they're going to war, I loved that look. I thought it was so strong and badass."
