La plouc — part deux.

Get ready for more French romance. Netflix shared brand-new photos from Emily In Paris's sophomore season and all the things that fans love (and critics seemed to hate) about the show are back and, well, dialed up even more.

As viewers remember, at the end of the show's first season, Emily, played by Lily Collins, managed to stay in the City of Lights, much to the delight of her fellow castmates, including resident hot chef Gabriel, played by Lucas Bravo. The couple du jour are included in the new snapshots, which also show Emily wearing a beret, which is apparently costume designer Pat Fields's favorite way to let everyone know that we're not in Chicago anymore (never forget Carrie Bradshaw's beret moment in Sex and the City season 6).

According to Entertainment Weekly, season 2 will involve "Emily's love triangle with Gabriel and his girlfriend, Camille," and a new love interest as Emily "meets an intriguing fellow expat in French class." Of course, there's plenty of Parisian eye candy — and Emily's signature camera phone case — alongside the characters, too.

"There's a new love interest for [Emily], there's a lot more intrigue at work, in relationships," creator Darren Star explained to People at The Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS event. "I think she also just gets more immersed in learning French and really struggling with the language in a way she didn't get to do first in the first season, because she's really trying this season."

"What happens in the next chapter, I think, can be a real exploration of how does the relationship between these three characters evolve," Star told TVLine of the new episodes. "That, to me, is such a fun thing to explore in season 2, because these are not Americans. They're French people. To me, a big part of the show is looking at everything through a different lens. Season 2 will open up some interesting and surprising relationship avenues."

EW notes that Netflix is set to release the show's new season sometime this year, though there isn't a set date just yet (knowing how the show loves to portray French nonchalance, it's better to be relaxed about things like schedules).
