Sept. 7!

We're only a month out from the premiere of American Crime Story's third installment: Impeachment, and we're dusting off our scrunchies and Titanic VHS tapes in anticipation.

Ryan Murphy's beloved anthology series is returning to the site of its first season (The People v. O.J. Simpson), the '90s, to retread the public scandal that erupted when it was revealed that President Bill Clinton had been sexually involved with his intern, Monica Lewinsky.

Based on Jeffrey Toobin's book,  A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President, the series will explore the impeachment proceedings through the perspectives of the women on the frontlines: Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein), Linda Tripp (Sarah Paulson), and Paula Jones (Analeigh Ashford).

On Thursday, FX released a teaser for the series, which gives us our first glimpse of Feldstein in character as Lewinsky. Lewinsky walks the halls of the White House in the new clip, weaving her way to the Oval Office, where Clinton (Clive Owen) sits.

It doesn't give us much, but it sets the scene in a way that inspires you (read: me) to start a countdown clock for Sept. 7.

Oh, and did I mention that Edie Falco plays Hillary Clinton? (Is this a universe in which The Sopranos never existed??) I have questions!
