Wonder Woman will release on June 2 and this particular adaptation, starring Gal Gadot in the title role, will follow DC Comics' The New 52. 04 of 08 MY COUSIN RACHEL Nicola Dove/Fox Searchlight Buy Now Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin star in the film version of Daphne Du Maurier's novel, My Cousin Rachel, in theaters on July 14. Set on a large estate in Cornwall, it follows a young Englishman (Claflin) who falls in love with his mysterious and beautiful cousin (Weisz), even though he suspects that she murdered his guardian and is plotting to take his estate. 05 of 08 VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS Moviestore Collection Ltd./Alamy Stock Photo Buy Now This summer blockbuster, releasing on July 21, is based on the French science fiction comic series Valerian and Laureline. Dane Dehaan plays Valerian and Cara Delevingne plays Laureline in the film. They're two time- and space-traveling agents from future Earth tasked with keeping order throughout the human territories. 06 of 08 ATOMIC BLONDE Jonathan Prime/Focus Features Buy Now Set during the Cold War, this novel by Antony Johnston follows an undercover MI6 spy sent to Berlin to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of spies who work there. Charlize Theron stars in the film adaptation, which hits theaters on July 28. 07 of 08 THE DARK TOWER Ilze Kitshoff/Columbia Pictures Buy Now The film, which debuts July 28, is a sequel to Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. The fantasy western will star Idris Elba as the famous gunslinger, Roland Deschain, with a quest to protect The Dark Tower, a mythical building that links all worlds together, against the evil Man in Black, played by Matthew McConaughey. 08 of 08 TULIP FEVER Courtesy of The Weinstein Company Buy Now On Aug. 25, the film version of Deborah Moggach's novel will hit theaters, starring Alicia Vikander, Dane Dehaan, Christoph Waltz, and Cara Delevingne. Set in 1600s Amsterdam, the story follows a young painter (Dehaan) who's been commissioned to paint a portrait of a married couple, but he starts to fall in love with the young wife (Vikander).
