InStyle Editors Share Their Picks for the Next Bachelor

While we anxiously wait to find out who Rachel Lindsay gives the final rose to on her season of The Bachelorette during the finale on Monday, Aug. 7, InStyle's editors can't help but wonder which man will fill Nick Viall's shoes as the next Bachelor.While it certainly depends on which of the final guys Rachel gets engaged to at the end, the top three aren't the only viable options.

If Eric, Brian, or Peter aren't up to it, ABC could look to fan-favorites who Rachel sent home earlier in the season, or even men from previous seasons of The Bachelorette who haven't yet found love. Hello, Wells!

"I like to choose my Bachelor based on who I'd like to look at the most next season, and so for me, it's a shoo-in for Peter. I love his grey hair. I love his gap tooth. I love him. "I am still, and forever, Team Wells. Not only could Wells Adams bring his legendary dog, Carl, but I think he seems like such a down-to-Earth and hilariously real guy. "Wells stole my heart back on Jojo's season of The Bachelorette and honestly, I'm still in love with that sweet, sweet face. He's adorable, definitely in touch with his emotional side, and I just want to give him a giant hug and never let go. Plus, to me, he reads as a genuinely good guy and would be honest with us and the girls if he were chosen as the next Bachelor. I'd say he was a fan favorite on Jojo's season and on the last season of Bachelor in Paradise, even though he walked away from the show a single man. I had heard he hit it off with Amanda Stanton on the upcoming season of BIP, but given the recent photos of Amanda holding hands with Robby Hayes, there's a chance he's still single and Bachelor-eligible. "If Bryan doesn't win this season of The Bachelorette, I think he would be a great Bachelor. Like Rachel's family kept bringing up, he always knows the right thing to say, and he'd definitely keep the conversation going. Plus, he's a bit polarizing (girls either love his smooth-talking ways or think he can't be trusted), which would make for an interesting season. "I'm going to go out on a limb here and say DeMario Jackson. His name was dragged through the mud during the Bachelor In Paradise scandal in which he was accused of sexually assaulting contestant Corinne Olympios. In the end, he was cleared of any wrongdoing. This might be ABC's chance to make it up to him. Besides, he seems like the kind of guy who knows how to juggle more than one woman at a time!" –Lauren Kane, Site Producer
