Fashion has latched onto trends from overalls to spaghetti straps, and at San Diego Comic Con over the weekend, we learned that at least six (!) upcoming reboots will bring our favorite throwback TV shows to our screens once again. Hold onto your scrunchies because you heard that right: From Hey, Arnold! to DuckTales, you're about to get a serious serving of nostalgia. Scroll down for more info about what's in the pipeline. 01 of 06 DuckTales Disney XD The first of the reboots to hit your screens will be DuckTales, which is set to air on Aug. 12 on Disney XD. The season-long mystery series will feature Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and his trouble-prone great nephews, Huey (Danny Pudi), Dewey (Ben Schwartz), and Louie (Bobby Moynihan), plus their new friend Webby (Kate Micucci). The kicker: Lin-Manuel Miranda also has a voice over role as Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera. Anticipation is so high for this robot that the series is already confirmed for a second season. We can expect many adventures, two hot-tempered Ducks, and a whole lot of mischief. 02 of 06 Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling Nickelodeon Nickelodeon is reviving cult classic Rocko’s Modern Life in a one-hour made-for-TV movie special, set to air in 2018. For the uninitiated, RML followed the quirky story of our favorite Australian wallaby who chases the American Dream, only to find out that life in the States is not quite what he'd expected. Appropriately, in the 2018 revival, there's a futuristic twist: The special is said to follow Rocko and his best pals after they've spent 20 years in space and returned to their home base of O-Town to find it not at all the way they left it. The entire original cast will reprise their roles. 03 of 06 Hey Arnold!: From Hillwood to the Jungle! Nickelodeon Football head is about to re-enter our lives! Arnold, Helga, Gerald, and their Hillwood neighbors are back in action for Nickelodeon’s two-part movie reboot of the Hey Arnold! series, set to air Nov. 23. In the special, the gang sets out for the adventure of a lifetime, starting with a field trip to South America (hint, hint: the last place Arnold’s parents were ever seen). Will we finally find out what happened to Arnold’s missing parents? Will Helga finally tell Arnold how she feels? We've never been more excited for anything, ever. 04 of 06 Legends of the Hidden Temple Nickelodeon Nickelodeon’s coming in hot this year with yet another reboot, this time of its epic adventure game show, Legends of the Hidden Temple—which will become a movie. Original host Kirk Fogg will back for the adaptation, which follows three siblings (including Transformers: The Last Knight’s Isabel Moner) who find themselves on a life-or-death mission when they break off from a boring temple tour. 05 of 06 Star Trek: Discovery Jan Thijs/CBS It’s been more than a decade since the final episode of Star Trek: Enterprise aired on CBS in 2005. Since then, we’ve seen a movie reprisal starring Wonder Woman’s dreamy Chris Pine. Now, though, the series is looking back in time to tell you what happened 10 years before the events of the original series. Catch it on Sept. 24 on CBS. 06 of 06 Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Columbia Pictures The beloved Robin Williams flick gets a modern makeover in its upcoming revival, starring The Rock himself. This time, the game will be played via video game counsel, but similar rules still apply. Watch the crew battle beast and element alike to survive the transformative game, set to hit theaters on Dec. 20.
