The New Carpool Karaoke Series Trailer Reunites the Stark Sisters 01 of 08 THE SINNER Peter Kramer/USA Network This eight-episode crime thriller follows a mother (Jessica Biel), who, in a fit of inexplicable rage, commits a gruesome crime. Where did these violent tendencies spring from? Over the course of the series, she attempts to find out. Bill Pullman also stars. (Wednesday, August 2 at 10 p.m. ET on USA) 02 of 08 Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later Saeed Adyani/Netflix As a follow-up to Netflix's reboot of the franchise, this season finds the camp counselors ten years older than they were in the original movie. Bonus: you'll still get to see cameos from your favorite Camp Firewood all-stars, including Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, and Elizabeth Banks. (Friday, Aug. 4, all episodes on Netflix) 03 of 08 COMRADE DETECTIVE Alexandru Ionita / Amazon Prime Video This new Amazon series is unlike anything you've ever seen before. It's actually an '80s Romanian cop series brought back to life thanks to voiceover work by Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (they voice the two lead detectives). You'll also hear voice dubbing by Jenny Slate, Chloe Sevigny, Jake Johnson, Nick Offerman, Fred Armisen, Kim Basinger, Mahershala Ali, Bobby Cannavale, Mark Duplass, and more. (Friday, Aug. 4 on Amazon) 04 of 08 LIFE OF KYLIE Brian Bowen Smith/E! Entertainment This KUWTK spin-off follows the youngest Jenner as she comes into her own. The unfiltered docuseries will give fans an inside look at the daily happenings of Kylie, from her successful business to her romantic relationships. (Sunday, Aug. 6 at 9 p.m. ET on E!) 05 of 08 DIFFICULT PEOPLE KC Bailey/Hulu In the third season of Hulu's praised comedy series, our favorite BFFs, Julie (Julie Klausner) and Billy (Billy Eichner), are each dealing with personal conundrums. Julie is on a quest for happiness, while Billy is fed up with New York City and everything that comes with it (except for his cute new boyfriend, played by John Cho). Lucy Liu guest stars this season. (Tuesday, Aug. 8 on Hulu) 06 of 08 Bachelor in Paradise Rick Rowell/ABC The show hasn't even aired yet and it's already promising to be the most dramatic season ever. To recap: Earlier this summer, production was temporarily shut down after an illicit tryst between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson led to an investigation about whether there was a case of sexual misconduct. Both parties were happy with the results, which found no evidence of foul play, but the incident raised major questions about the way the franchise handles sexual encounters. Tensions are high. (Monday, Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC) 07 of 08 Marvel's The Defenders Sarah Shatz/Netflix If you watch Netflix's other Marvel series, then you'll want to tune in to this mega mash-up of superheroes. Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) team up to fight crime in New York City. (Friday, Aug. 18, all episodes on Netflix) 08 of 08 VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS Kevin Kane/FilmMagic Katy Perry will host and perform at this year's MTV Video Music Awards. In a historic move, there will no longer be gendered categories—Best Male Video and Best Female Video will now be Artist of the Year. 2017 nominees include Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Lorde, and more.
