InStyle's editorial guidelines Published on November 8, 2020 @ 02:25PM Pin Share Tweet Email On Saturday (Nov. 7), Joe Biden was officially declared the winner of the 2020 U.S. presidential election, unseating current President Donald Trump from the White House. And while Trump refuses to accept defeat, Biden is reminding him of the loss with a new hat — at least according to Twitter. Following the announcement of her husband's election victory, Dr. Jill Biden shared a cute photo of the couple holding up a sign that reads, "Dr. and Vice President Biden Live Here," with the word "Vice" covered in correspondence with Joe's win. In the snap, Joe paired his polo shirt with a navy blue baseball cap printed with a phrase that appears to take a direct dig at Trump: "We Just Did. 46." Almost immediately, fans picked up on the subtle shade and were convinced that it was a response to Trump's "Make America Great Again" trucker hats. "YALL!!!! His HAT!!! 'Make America Great Again' .... 'WE JUST DID.' BROOOO HIS MARKETING TEAM IS [exploding brain emoji]," one user tweeted. "Why is no one discussing the absolute beauty that is @JoeBiden's hat in this picture," another wrote, while many more inquired where they could buy one for themselves. Chrissy Teigen, Lady Gaga, and More Celebrities React to Joe Biden's Election Victory It's unclear if Biden's hat was intended to serve as a clever clapback of sorts, however, it wouldn't be the first time his campaign merchandise took a cheeky turn. After a fly landed on Mike Pence's head during the Vice Presidential debate back in October, the president-elect's team took full advantage of the humorous moment, and began selling Biden/Harris flyswatters — much to the delight of 15,000 supporters.
