Zoe Saldana Shares Her "Slow, Painful" Journey of Getting Back into Shape After Having Twins
Zoe Saldana is being very honest about her post-pregnancy weight loss struggles after having twins.
It's no secret that Hollywood stars often make dropping the pounds after pregnancy look quite easy. In fact, sometimes it looks downright magical. But that's why it's so refreshing when an actress like Zoe Saldana admits that it's actually quite hard—and even details the specifics of the struggles.
After gaining 70 pounds while carrying twin boys—who arrived last November—the Star Trek actress embarked on a journey to get back into shape and is sharing the experience with fans on her Facebook page. In addition to uploading photos and videos of herself at the gym, Saldana has posted diet and fitness tips as well as very honest notes about her "slow ... painful ... and frustrating journey" towards getting back into shape.

Since then, Saldana has provided a play by play of her workouts (which includes a lot interval training with fitness expert Steve Moyer), documented her diet struggles, and shared motivational messages.
Last month the star described how she has had to adjust her post-baby outfit choices. “I still miss a lot of things when it comes to fashion, and I still can’t wear a lot of things," she told InStyle. "But it’s okay, because I’m loving this new bodysuit that I’m in. And if it stays forever I’m going to be a very happy lady.”
