She may be the glamorous star of Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek, and Avatar, but to year-old twins Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio, she's just mom, based on the Instagram video just posted by Zoe Saldana and artist husband Marco Perego, to whom every parent ever kept awake by a sleepless baby will relate.

In the shot, Saldana (makeup-free and bed-headed, but still gorgeous and camera-ready) and Perego stare blearily at the camera as the twins wail in the background, the couple's faces alternating between hope every time there's a pause and despair as the crying starts up again. The hashtags say it all: "#nosleep everrrrrrr!!!! #parents #twins #please go to sleep"

A second post shows the twins have won. Saldana has brought them downstairs to see the beautiful, brilliantly-lit family Christmas tree – at 5 a.m. "Oh, look how shiny it is," Saldana observes in both English and Spanish, "...because it's still dark outside!"

Despite the mock-complaining, this evidence of the twins' robust health must be music to Saldana's ears. The boys were born prematurely and spent their first days in a neo-natal intensive care unit. ""My husband and I were at the mercy of our nurses and doctors — our children's lives depended on their every move," she told People.

As a result of the experience, Saldana has become involved with fund-raising for Brave Beginnings, a non-profit organization that works to ensure hospitals have the specialist equipment that can give preemies a fighting chance.

Meanwhile, one thing is clear: Santa's going to have to time his visit to the Perego-Saldana household carefully if he's going to get in without Cy and Bowie noticing.
