Looks like Lena Dunham's new HBO show Max has a new leading lady, Deadline reports. Our Brand Is Crisis star Zoe Kazan has been tapped to replace Lisa Joyce, who was first cast in the starring role.

Unlike Dunham's current HBO hit series, Girls, Max is a feminist comedy set in 1963 and will focus on the second-wave feminist movement. The show will follow Kazan's character, a low-level magazine reporter who gets in over her head when she stumbles into the forefront of the cause.

The Girls creator and star will direct the pilot of Max and serve as the executive producer along with Jenni Konner, Murray Miller, and Ilene Landress. We can't wait to see it!
