Here's a Sneak Peek at the Best 2018 Winter Olympic Uniforms from Around the World
Once the 2018 Winter Olympic Games kick off next month, viewers from around the world will be tuning in to see which countries will score the most gold medals. But we're also pretty excited for the epic fashion moments ahead, especially the uniforms that representatives of each nation will sport to the Opening Ceremony (Feb. 9). That one event that sets the tone for the entire competition, giving counties an opportunity to announce, "We have arrived, and we're here to kick butt," without saying a word.
Nations are tapping to the best designers to create original styles, embellished with stunning patriotic details, for their athletes. And it's not all about looks, either. The below-freezing temperatures in Pyeongchang, South Korea, demand extra-warm fabrics that'll keep the sports stars both chic and toasty as they represent their home countries.
Below, check out a sneak peek at some of our favorite Opening Ceremony uniforms from around the world.
