Ever since Karl Lagerfeld tapped Willow Smith to be the new Chanel Brand Ambassador during Paris Fashion Week in March, the fashion world has been waiting for Willow to grace us with her presence in an ad campaign for the famed designer brand. And now, Chanel has officially launched its fall-winter 2016/17 eyewear ad campaign featuring said It-girl, and obviously, it's incredible.
The campaign photos are stunning, with Willow dressed up in jewelry from the upcoming season's ready-to-wear collection, and sporting the new eyewear collection from the brand. Inspired by three themes—vintage, urban chic, and the Chanel Coco chain—the collection features two pairs of optical glasses and three pairs of sunglasses, each with its own unique flair. Plus, Chanel posted a few (adorable) behind-the-scenes videos.
The octagonal oversized sunnies are made from lenses faceted and polished by hand, feature a transparent frame and lightly colored lenses.
The butterfly and pantos-shaped sunglasses feature mirrored lenses and black frames, signed with Chanel's signature baroque matte metal double C.
Both the cat eye and round frame opticals feature the signature chain interlaced with leather at the top of the frames and over the nose.
The sunglasses and opticals are available at all Chanel retailers and authorized boutiques.
