Today in sentences we never thought we’d be writing: The office of First Lady Melania Trump is boycotting rapper T.I. Before you ask, no, it’s not because the chorus to “Live Your Life” has been stuck in her head since 2008.

What Happened?

On Friday evening, rapper T.I. tweeted a minute-long promo for his new album, Dime Trap. In the explosive clip, T.I. sits in the oval office while a Melania Trump look-alike wearing nothing but her infamous “I Really Don’t Care. Do U?” coat and stiletto heels strips naked and dances for the rapper. T.I. captioned the tweet “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye.”

Why Did He Call Kanye Out?

Days ago, as Kanye West met with Donald Trump, T.I. shared his true feelings for his fellow rapper in a lengthy Instagram post, calling West’s visit to the White House “the most repulsive, disgraceful, Embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen.”

How Did Melania’s Camp Respond?

Melania Trump’s Director of Communications, Stephanie Grisham, retweeted ET Canada’s coverage of the video with the caption “How is this acceptable? #disgusting #boycottT.I. @Tip.”

Of course, she added a period to T.I.’s name in her hashtag, thereby unintentionally creating the hashtag “#boycottT.” So … boycott Trump?

What’s the Rest of the Internet Saying?

The reaction has been surprisingly mixed among the Twittersphere’s humble denizens. Many, like Grisham, are offended by T.I.’s rendering of the First Lady and have discovered how to correctly format the hashtag suggested by Grisham.

Some even found a way to blame Obama for the video ... ?

Others have balked at the criticism from Melania fans, suggesting that since FLOTUS has posed nude in the past, the video is fair game.

The minority (of course) came up with some pretty fair points:
