What's Right Meow: Support Pet Adoption with These Pawesome Scandal-Approved Posters!

With the fourth season of the hit series Scandal in full swing, we can’t get enough of what Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her team of Gladiators are up to. And just in time, the ASPCA (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) has created a campaign in an effort to spread awareness to a situation in need of fixing: millions of pets in shelters across the country that are in need of loving homes.

Featuring adorable furballs from the ASPCA Adoption Center including three cats, Robbie (above), Bart, and Kathy (below), each feline is highlighted in a sharable poster along with favorite tag lines from Scandal. “Our team members love brainstorming new and unique ways to raise awareness about pet adoption and animal homelessness—once we started jotting down some of our favorite sayings from the show and turning them into pet puns, we knew we were onto something hilarious,” Alison M. Jimenez, director of media and communications of the ASPCA tells InStyle. “We definitely seemed to split 50/50 on #TeamFitz or #TeamJake, but we’re all vehemently #TeamASPCA.”

Even if you're not able to adopt, there are still plenty of ways to help your local shelter or rescue group—such as sharing one of these pawesome posters via social media. "Volunteering, fostering and donating are also great ways to support animal rescue in your community," says Jimenez. The best place to start?
