What's Right Meow: Forever 21 Collabs with the ASPCA for a Collection of Pawesome Apparel
Talk about shopping for a good cause that also satisfies your feline fixation! Fashion and accessories mega-retailer Forever 21, has recently teamed up with the ASPCA (the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) for their new "Give to Love, Love to Give" collection of animal-themed hoodies and tees. One dollar from the sale of each sporty piece will be donated to the ASPCA to raise funds to help animal friends in need across the country.
This collection marks the second time the animal welfare organization has collaborated with Forever 21. "We worked together previously in 2011 on a similar collection and the response was fantastic. It was a fun and creative process—the best part was seeing the final product and knowing it will be a vehicle for us to spread the word about our work and mission," Keri Matthews, senior manager of marketing and licensing at the ASPCA, tells InStyle.
Of course, we just can't get enough of the cat-inspired designs. The hoodies, named the "Trés Meow Paris" and the "Happy Face" (pictured above), are made with a soft cotton-polyester blend, plus includes a cozy pocket to keep your paws extra toasty. The "Urban Myth" tee (below) is made with a rayon-spandex blend and includes a sweet pic of a unicorn-horned, winged kitty. So cute; who can resist?
"Pet parents are always looking for ways to celebrate the love they have for their pets. This collection does just that while helping animals at the same time," Matthews says. "It shows how rewarding it is to be both fashionable and charitable!"
