Happy National Cat Day! While we enjoy celebrating our love for felines on the daily, today calls for an extra dose of kitty goodness. The holiday strives to spread global awareness of pet adoption and has saved nearly 1 million cats since its inception in 2005. Plus, it also serves as the pawfect excuse to pamper your pet with some catnip and cuddles. To melt your heart, we've rounded up six of our favorite snapshot meowmeries of celebs with their furry pals. From Taylor Swift and Olivia Benson to Karl Lagerfeld and Choupette, we can't get enough of these adorable duos! Read on for more kittens that have us smitten.

It’s no secret that the 1989-born singer loves cats. Since Swift debuted her newest kitten, Olivia Benson (named after the Law & Order: SVU character) in June, the fluffball has been seen in a Keds campaign, a Diet Coke ad, and toted around New York City. And of course, we love Swift’s other Scottish Fold, named Meredith Grey (from Grey’s Anatomy) just as much.

2. Karl Lagerfeld and Choupette

Known to be the love of the designer’s life, Choupette is one fabulous cat with a luxurious lifestyle filled with photo shoots, private jets, shopping sprees, and gourmet meals. Lagerfeld’s kitty muse has even inspired a book and fashion line. Also, be sure to check out her newest Shu Uemura makeup campaign!
