We love Emma Stone's style and she looked both polished and laid back last night at the Golden Globes as she introduced one of her self-proclaimed life-long heroes Diane Keaton. We caught up with her longtime makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, to find out what she arms her client with on one of the most important events of the year. "I didn't want her to be too done—just herself. I powdered her skin but left it fresh and lush. The high def cameras can be really overwhelming so I wanted her to look airbrushed but still able to see her freckles," Goodwin told us. She says she's always thinking about what she's pulling out of her purse and she wanted something super glamorous (but still effective!) for Stone. "I gave her this amazing brush (Chanel Retractable Kabuki Brush, $70 at chanel.com)," she said. "We joke that it's made out of the hair of unicorns. it's so soft and beautiful for a quick touch-up. It applies the powder in a thin layer and then becomes literally invisible." Everyone knows that lip touch-ups are a must so Stone took a long her trusty Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Honey, ($8.99 at target.com). Whatever she did certainly worked—she looked fresh faced all night long.

Plus, take a look back at the night's hottest beauty moments.
