American Sniper star Jake McDorman has plenty to look forward to during tonight’s Academy Awards. Not only is it his first time attending the ceremony, but his film is nominated for a total of six Oscars, including the night’s top honor: Best Picture. So, which category is McDorman most excited about? The answer may surprise you.

“Having a movie that we’re all so proud of nominated is a big enough deal, but it would really be cool to see Bradley win,” McDorman tells InStyle of co-star Bradley Cooper’s Best Actor nomination. “It would just be epic.” After witnessing his co-star’s transformation to play Chris Kyle, the deadliest sniper in U.S. military history, McDorman is rooting for him to take home the prize.

“I got to see his performance and his commitment up close and personal, so if he wins—which wouldn’t surprise me—then it would be really cool to be there for that,” McDorman says. “Any win would be amazing—obviously for Best Picture, we’d all get to charge the stage and that would be awesome.”
