Yesterday, on my way home from work, I walked by the windows of H&M on 34th Street in New York City and I stopped dead in my tracks. There, on a mannequin, were my favorite jeans from when I was in high school back in the '70s. High-waisted, close-fitting, but worn to a soft fade, they were the sexiest pair I ever owned—which brings me to this iconic photo of Cher (above).

Talk about sexy! Nothing emphasizes a woman’s curves more emphatically than a silhouette that highlights the waist. Sorry, folks! Those low-riders with a 3-inch rise that everybody wore in the aughts were just the worst—creating “muffin-top” anxiety and “plumber-butt” issues, right and left! Not pretty.

The loose blouse tucked into the second-skin denim, the delicate pendant necklaces, the long hair, the joy of Cher's expression—they're all an inspiration! Want to generate some attention on Tinder? Copy this right look right now.
