We Asked Celebs: Who Is Your Fave Princess—Fictional or Real?
Inspired by the remake of the classic fairy tale Cinderella hitting theaters Friday, March 13, we asked celebs: Who is your fave princess ever—and she could be of either the imaginative Grimm variety or the true-to-life lot. Here’s what they had to say:
"Jasmine. I love Aladdin. She had really good hair and abs. She also had a little spunk. I liked that about her."
Kate Bosworth"My grandmother used to call me Princess Kate. But the real one is doing quite well."
Shay Mitchell"Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I could watch her in that movie over and over."
Camilla Belle"Belle, because it's my name. I was always in love with the Beast and not the prince, which I thought was quite interesting."
January Jones"I am still a huge fan of Princess Grace [of Monaco], as an actress and humanitarian."
Lance Bass"Princess Diana. I loved her look and style, and what she did for charities was amazing. She really reached out and made things happen."
Carrie Underwood"Cinderella is my girl. She has the whole talking-to-animals thing going on, and I totally did that."
Olivia Wilde"Princess Beatrice of York is such a badass."
Keke Palmer"Anne Hathaway's Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries. She made it seem so real."
Kirsten Dunst"Elsa from Frozen. I had so much pleasure singing the 'Let It Go' song with every little girl I knew."
Eva Longoria"Princess Jasmine from Aladdin, because she was the only one who had dark hair!"
Dianna Argon"Princess Diana. I think a large part of why I was named Dianna was because of her. She was so influential and she still is."
Lily Collins"Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday. I love that she plays a quirky, goofy girl, but she's a princess and there's this realness to her. And at the end, she could not be more regal and beautiful."
