We Asked Celebs: Which Girls Girl Are You?
With Girls returning for its fourth season on Sunday, January 11 at 9 p.m. EST on HBO, we asked celebs: Which character do you relate to most? Here's what they had to say:
"I think when I was in my 20s I would have been Lena (Dunham)’s character (Hannah) because she’s so confused and always choosing the wrong guys."
"I’d want to be Hannah. I love her! She’s flawed, but so lovable. I identify with her probably the most, in all of her madness."
"Everyone says I’m like Hannah. I have OCD like she does, and I'm her body type. And I'm obsessed with (Lena Dunham). She's the only actress that I'll Google to find all her interviews."
"I think Marnie. I hate to admit it, but I definitely see moments of myself where I'm just a perfectionist."
"I think people would say Marnie. She's a hard study, messes up a lot, and worries a lot."
"I’d be a Marnie. The sort of flail-y, white-knucke uptightness of her really hits home with me occasionally. I’ll be watching her and think, 'That doesn’t seem so crazy.'"
"Maybe I'm a little uptight like Shoshanna."
"Definitely Jessa, because she’s fun-spirited and super lively."
"Jessa, but I’m not a drug addict. She’s an artist and sort of all over the place."
"I’m like them all wrapped up into one. I’d like to think I’m like the cool girl, but I’m not. I like to think I’m quirky like Lena’s character, but I’m not. I’d like to think I’m sophisticated and beautiful like Allison’s character, but I’m not."
Bryce Dallas Howard
"I've gone through periods of time where I have the anxiety of Lena Dunham's character, for sure. And I, for sure, have some of the preppiness of Marnie."
"I have the neurosis of Soshanna. I'm a little bit from a hippie family, so I have a little bit of (Jessa’s) free spirit. And then I can be self-obsessed like Hannah, and I'm sometimes a little conservative like Marnie."
