About this time of year, for several seasons running now, Karlie Kloss is usually working her strut for the global fashion weeks in London, Milan and Paris. But since Tom Ford moved his Fall 2015 runway show to Los Angeles this season, she has the perfect excuse to stay for the Oscars parties.

Backstage at the Tom Ford show at Milk Studios LA last night, where she killed it on the runway (naturally), Kloss told us she decided to attend the Oscars festivities literally last minute. "I am going. I just decided," Kloss said. "So yeah, I'll have to figure out a fabulous gown to wear."

Even if Kloss won't have much time for dress selection. Trust that the mega model will find just the right look. "The ultimate Oscar dress is something really classic and elegant," she told us. "I like something long, even with long sleeves -- a gown that is sexy and modern at the same time." Kloss added that she was thinking something "very fitted and very simple" and perhaps in "black or white."

That would be a departure from Kloss's look last year, which flaunted some serious cutouts along her derriere. The Alaia creation she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party (see, top) was such the head-turner, Kloss admitted she's not sure if she could top the look. Lucky for her, she was in the perfect place for gown-hunting. "Maybe I'll have to see what Tom has lying around."
