Let's hear it for the ladies of Hollywood: Patricia Arquette made one powerful proclamation during her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress during tonight's 87th Annual Academy Awardsand Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lopez were totally feeling the actress's inspiring feminist message.

"To every woman who gave birth, to every taxpayer and citizen of this nation, we have fought for everybody's equal rights," Arquette declared onstage. "It is our time to have wage equality once and for all and equal rights in the United States of America."

Immediately following Arquette's call to action, the impassioned plea drew a rousing round of applause from the audience. But the best reaction of all? The camera panned to Streep who jumped up in her seat wildly pumping her fist, and Lopez sitting next to her just as riled up. What a major girl power moment!
