And now the show's costume designer Janie Bryant has teamed up with Simon Kneen, Creative Director of Banana Republic, to film Mad Men-inspired style guides. In this one, the two experts discuss the key pieces behind the show's signature looks: the pencil skirt and vintage-inspired accessories. But Mad Men fashion isn't just a faded notion of matching your shoes to your handbag. Bryant says, "The resurgence of dressing up and dressing for the occasion is what Mad Men is all about."
