If the acting thing doesn't work out, Amy Adams definitely has a backup career as a lip reader. The star of the new film Arrival proved this on The Tonight Show Thursday when she played a few rounds of Singing Whisper Challenge with host Jimmy Fallon. During the game, one person whispers a phrase while the other wears noise-canceling headphones and then has to correctly guess the spoken words.

Adams wore the headphones first and was presented with a difficult set of lyrics by Fallon. "It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight," Fallon sang from the song "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor to a confused Adams. "Something ... for fashion?" Adams said making the audience and Fallon laugh. But after a few more guesses—and some gesturing by Fallon—she got it! "You know that big hit, 'Something About Fashion,"" she joked.

Next it was Adams's turn. Her lyric was "Walk Like an Egyptian" from The Bangles tune of the same name. By itself, Fallon couldn't guess it. "Rolling like a chick machine?" he suggested. It wasn't until Adams started singing more of the lyrics by heart and doing the famous dance that Fallon finally got it. For the final round, things got a little romantic as Fallon had to sing, "I'll make love to you," from Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love to You" to Adams. Though he was giggling through it, Adams managed to guess it fairly quickly.
