We've waited all summer long and the moment has finally arrived---Gucci's first-ever makeup line is now available! News of the impending beauty launch broke back in May when the label announced Charlotte Casiraghi as the face of Gucci beauty, and the luxe packaging paired with each of the fashion-forward hues certainly didn't disappoint in bringing the runway glamour to our everyday routines. "For me, beauty and fashion are always connected. One doesn't exist without the other," says creative director Frida Giannini. "Makeup is a key element of the Gucci runway show. Eyes, skin, lips---they're like accessories, all working together to create an unmistakable look."

The label drove that point home by giving us a sneak peek of the gorgeous range at the Milan Spring 2015 Fashion Week show, and now that we've taken a look at the full lineup, we're tempted to stock up on just about everything. We're especially loving the high-gloss nail lacquers ($29 each;, which come equipped with triangular-shaped brush bristles to ensure the smoothest, most-even coverage you'll get without going to the salon.

Boasting more than just pretty colors and a couture exterior, Giannini also wanted the products to deliver pro-quality finishes, so she teamed up with makeup artist extraordinaire Pat McGrath, who is also the brand's cosmetics artistic director, to develop each of the formulas. "Frida's vision was clear, she looked for a collection designed to belong in a makeup artist's kit, but also to be a woman's trusted beauty product," she says. "We spent a long time perfecting a precise balance of technology and finishes. They are so professional that they can be used backstage, or when a woman effortlessly applies them at home." We may not have mastered McGrath's impeccable skills quite yet, but as the saying goes, practice makes perfect, and what better to practice with than Gucci's rich, blendable formulas?
