Here's How the Victoria's Secret Angels Get Their Skin So Glowy — And It's Not Highlighter
What does it take to get the face of an Angel? Ah, the questions I am forced to ask myself when the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show rolls around. The event may be all about over-the-top lingerie that I'll never come close to wearing under my clothes, but I always zero in on the Angels' skin; it's clear, it's smooth, and it's glowy as hell.
This year, some of the Angels' radiance can be credited to Charlotte Tilbury highlighter, but no cream or powder can make anyone's entire face glow that much on its own. That's why the models visit celebrity facialist Georgia Louise to prep their skin for the runway.
According to a press release from Georgia Louise, the Angel Face Facial is all about calming, soothing, and hydrating the skin so that it's de-puffed, hydrated, and of course, luminous. The process includes a micro-current device, an LED light, and a handful of solid skincare products.
Micro-current and LED light excluded, the facial is a surprisingly easy routine that can be done at home. Below, we've broken down all of the steps in Louise's Angel Face Facial, along with the products she uses on the models.

Georgia Louise The Balm
Louise starts things off by triple cleansing the Angels' skin with the balm from her namesake line of products. This softening balm melts away all traces of makeup, dirt, and oil from the skin, plus has a mix of plant oils that locks in hydration.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Deep Hydrating Mask
Once the Angels' skin is completely cleansed, the next step is this uber-hydrating mask from Dr. Barbara Sturm, a celeb-favorite brand. The rich cream is packed with a ton of smoothing, moisturizing ingredients like aloe vera, vitamin E and chamomile, to name a few.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum
Depending on what the Angels' skin needs, Louise will treat them with a firming micro-current or blemish-fighting LED light. Before that though, she massages their complexions with Dr. Barbara Sturm's Hyaluronic Serum. A products that plumps and hydrates skin.
Georgia Louise Stemcell Renewal Elixir
If the Angels need blemish control, Louise applies her Stemcell Renewal Elixir and lets it set as they sit under an LED. This treatment kick starts the skin's reparative process so that skin is more clear and firm.
Georgia Louise Lift & Sculpt Butterfly Stone
After fancy in-office micro-currents and LED lights, Louise performs her signature lift and sculpt facial massage using her rose quartz stone. Just like the rollers you've seen on Instagram, this butterfly-shaped massager lifts and contours the face by draining toxins, and thus puffiness.
Georgia Louise GLOPulse Device
This might look like a trendy pair of headphones, but it's a pulsing device that helps skincare products penetrate deeper into the skin. Louise puts it on the Angels' while giving them a shoulder massage to calm pre-show anxiety. Casual.
Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops
Finally, Louise finishes the facial off by applying Dr. Barbara Sturm's Glow Drops to the Angels' cheekbones for extra shimmer. This serum is packed with glow-boosting ingredients like vitamin C.
