Victoria Beckham Returns to Her Do-Gooder Ways with a Trip to Ethiopia

Another day, another country touched by Victoria Beckham's charitable ways. Now that fashion month has officially wrapped, the fashion designer is fulfilling her UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador duties with a visit to Ethiopia. And based on Beckham's stream of frequent Instagram posts, it's clear that her itinerary for the trip is pretty packed, as she got straight to work upon arriving.

Earlier today Beckham shared a snap in which she meets with the Ethiopian minister of health—an appropriate point of contact for the celeb whose work aims to further the UNAIDS mission of reducing and eliminating AIDS-related deaths, HIV infections, and discrimination toward persons with HIV.

In addition to meeting with the health minister, Beckham's work has involved helping women and children alike. She also Instagrammed her visit with the local Entoto Beth Artisans, an organization that was started in response to the influx of people living with HIV/AIDS in the country. According to the Entoto Beth Artisans homepage, artisans are given aid, courses on literacy and math, parenting classes, and income in exchange for their handmade jewelry, which is sold by the nonprofit, fair trade organization Ten Thousand Villages.

As part of the UNAIDS effort to eliminate discrimination among persons living with aids, Beckham visited the ALEM Children Support Organization to hang with the kiddos and show them some love. In the candid shots, the mother of four showed her more maternal side, which, we have to say, is pretty dang adorable. (Aw!)

Documenting her trip using the hashtag #globalgoodwillambassador, Beckham's thoughtful concern and genuine efforts to help build an AIDS-free future is just another reason we can't get enough of the fashion designer turned total do-gooder.
