Style Lessons We Learned from Being Obsessed with Victoria Beckham "We have come such a long way in the fight against AIDS. Huge global efforts have created proven results, and more and more people are accessing treatment and prevention services," Beckham commented. "But we are not there yet. There are still people being left behind due to gender inequalities, stigma and discrimination, and lack of resources." The designer also released some previously unseen candid photos taken on her October 2014 trip to Ethiopia on behalf of the organization. While there she visited clinics, NGOs, and social businesses, but primarily spoke with adults and children living with HIV and AIDS. Victoria Beckham Returns to Her Do-Gooder Ways with a Trip to Ethiopia Beckham has been involved with efforts to help AIDS prevention and education since 2003 and last year sold 600 pieces of clothing from her personal archive via The Outnet to combat pediatric AIDS. "I am proud to take a stand," she said in a statement, "speaking up for change and pushing on towards our common goal of ending AIDS."
