Victoria Beckham is notoriously tight-lipped about her relationship with the royal family, but the pop star-turned-fashion designer did answer some questions about the upcoming wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when she stopped by The Late Late Show Thursday night.

Host James Corden was quick to grill Beckham about the royal wedding, and while she was more reticent about more questions than others, she did drop a truth bomb about Markle’s wedding dress. Unfortunately, she’s not the one designing it. “I’m not doing the dress,” Beckham insisted. “Sadly not, but I’m sure she will look incredible in whatever she wears.”

Her answer was very diplomatic, of course. There was one question she was less quick to answer, though: Whether she and David Beckham will be in attendance at the royal wedding. “I don’t know,” she eventually said, while stammering on her answer.

Corden took that as confirmation that she did, indeed, receive an invitation. “Oh, well how exciting,” he responded. “Yes, well I think England is so excited. It’s so great, isn’t it? They look so happy,” Beckham answered.

While the designer didn’t comment on the rumors that the Spice Girls will be performing at the royal wedding, she did reveal some truths about that meeting they had in London earlier this year. “It was so great seeing the girls, you know, we’re all still very close. And it was great to be there,” she said. “It’s not about us going on tour. It’s not about us recording new material, but how do we pass the girl power message onto future generations. What does that look like?”

“Never has there been a more important time to spread that message as there is now,” Beckham added. She might not be going on tour with the Spice Girls, but she did promise that they will reunite to do one thing: “Carpool Karaoke” with James Corden.

“That would be hilarious,” she said. “I will do ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with the Spice Girls.” We’re already marking our calendars.
