Tour Marie Antoinette's Luxurious Gardens with Le Labo's New Scent

The right fragrance has the ability to transport you to another place, and Le Labo's newest fragrance in particular is taking you on a summer trip to the gardens of Versailles—and you don't even have to bring your passport.

Opening Ceremony has teamed up with the artisan fragrance house and floral artist Thierry Boutemy to create Geranium 30, an airy blend of blossoms and spices, which was inspired by the feeling of walking through a wild, lush garden. "We've been following Thierry's work for some time now and we have been in awe of his incredible talent, especially the lavishly designed arrangements in Marie Antoinette," says Opening Ceremony founder Humberto Leon. "There's no one who captures the essence and spirit of flowers as Thierry does." In addition to working on the Sofia Coppola film, Boutemy has created installations for Lanvin, Viktor & Rolf, Givenchy, Dries Van Noten, and many more, so we're sure Marie Antoinette would happily place this gorgeous scent among the beauty staples on her vanity.

The collaboration also includes a range of clothing and accessories, decked out in a variety of bold florals, which were created in a particularly interesting way. Boutemy shot a series of photographs featuring actual flowers—some either smashed or broken to add dimension—then repurposed the photos into prints. "It has been a wonderful and interesting experience seeing the flowers I created transformed into clothing," Boutemy adds. "Opening Ceremony allowed me total creative freedom when designing the florals and prints for this collection."
