We chatted with Emmy-nominated costume designer Salvador Pérez about this week's awesome looks. Before she went back to work, we got to see some of Mindy's fine maternity leave style, including more of those great Bedhead pajamas and a cute J. Crew navy blue and white striped tee, perfect for hanging out with baby Leo. For a mother-son shopping trip, Mindy was—of course—dressed to the nines wearing her old standby green leather All Saints jacket, a Prada skirt and Manolo Blahnik heels. For her big back to work outfit, Mindy opted for a bold red ensemble custom made by Pérez. The mini skirt, blouse and heels looked perfect with her dangly pink Kate Spade earrings. Plus, Leo is wearing a matching outfit, though he doesn't come out of the stroller so it's hard to see. Finding a nursing bra that wasn't beige or black was quite impossible Pérez told us. "Mindy is all about the colored bra but it just amazes me how little selection was out there. It's like, 'You're a mother now so you have to wear boring colors". Though we will see more of a Laura Petrie look from Mindy. Think pearls!
