Americans got some major retail therapy this weekend! Shoppers flocked to stores earlier and spent more than ever before, as retailers pulled in a record-breaking $52.4 billion in sales, BusinessWeek reports. Many shops opened on Thanksgiving Day this year drawing crowds of 28.7 million on Turkey Day alone, and the average shopper spent $398.62 over the holiday weekend. So, what did everyone buy?
