Taylor Swift is making power moves when it comes to helping those affected by the deadly storms in Nashville, Tennessee.

On Thursday (March 5), Swift took to her personal Instagram account with a touching message for her Story.

"Nashville is my home," she began, "and thee fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me."

"I've made a donation to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund," she continued. "If you'd like to do the same, swipe up." Swift included a link to the fund to make it easy for fans to click and make a payment. According to Page Six, a rep for Swift confirmed that she did indeed make her own donation, to the tune of a whopping $1 million.

Swift is referring to a dangerous night on Tuesday (March 3), where a massive tornado swept through Tennessee's Putnam County. It ended up claiming 18 lives, including five children. There was a death toll of around 24, with 88 injured.

The pop star's efforts were heartfelt indeed, especially considering the pain left in the storm's wake.

Swift has been known in the past for her charitable efforts in similar situations, even having paid off expenses for fans in the past. She may not be "The Man," but, well, she's pretty much the man.
