What I can tell you is…we had plans to do different things a couple months ago and had to pivot…. I’m really excited, personally, my team and I have come up with a really innovative way to perform my new song 'Daisies.’'" Two years after Taylor Swift and Katy Perry officially made up and ended their longstanding feud, fans are convinced the singers are teaming up for a collaboration. The theory has everything to do with their recent social media activity — on Thursday, Swift posted a seemingly innocuous photo of herself lounging in a daisy sweater with a glass of wine. However, Swift fans, well-versed in her love of Easter eggs and sneaky references, knew better than to take the photo at face value. And they were handsomely rewarded with fodder for theories when Perry dropped an announcement the next day for her new single, titled "Daisies." Between Swift's sweater, Perry's song title, and the fact that it's the two-year anniversary of their feud ending, fans drew some conclusions together about a possible collaboration between the two. It wouldn't be the first time Swift and Perry have worked together — last year, Perry made an appearance in Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" music video, re-wearing the Moschino hamburger outfit she first wore at the Met Gala afterparty a month prior. Whether or not a new collaboration is on the way remains to be seen, but either way, Swifties are in for a treat as the singer announced a new concert special for later this month. Taylor Swift Surprised a Utah Nurse Who Left Home to Fight Coronavirus in New York City After canceling her tour amid the coronavirus pandemic, Swift will be airing a special called "Taylor Swift: City of Lover" on May 17 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC. It will also be available on demand on Hulu and Disney+ the following day.
