Taylor Swift Slays as She Accepts the First-Ever Taylor Swift Prize at the BMI Pop Awards
Taylor Swift turned heads Tuesday night when she accepted two major honors—including one named after her—at the 64th annual BMI Pop Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The platinum blonde stunner continued to rock the lighter locks and new edgy style that she recently put on display at the 2016 Met Gala. The "Bad Blood" singer turned up the heat in a sultry floor-length blue-and-black patterned number and a metallic choker and paired the look with dark nails, smoky eyes, and a light pink lip.
The country-turned-pop star's family joined her for the special ceremony where she was honored with the first-ever Taylor Swift Award for "incomparable creative and artistic talent and influence on music lovers around the world," as described by BMI.
Swift also claimed the award for Pop Songwriter of the Year for four of the year's most-performed songs: "Bad Blood," "Blank Space," "Style," and "Wildest Dreams," which are all part of her wildly successful album 1989.
Something tells us Swift is in the market for another trophy case.
