So this is love. It was an awe-inducing moment as George Clooney accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment" at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards tonight, where he lovingly spoke about his new wife Amal.

"I've had a fabulous year, and I'm not just referring to the fabulous reviews of The Monuments Men," Clooney joked onstage during his acceptance speech as Amal proudly looked on. But then the star got serious: "It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love, even better when you've been waiting your whole life, and your whole life is 53 years," he continued. "Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."

Clooney was presented with the statuette during the ceremony by his former ER co-star Julianna Margulies and Ocean's Eleven co-star Don Cheadle, as they honored him "for his talent, for his contribution, and for his humanity." Congratulations to the actor on this incredible achievement!
